The Ford Torino has got an entirely new design for the 1970 model year. This car has always had a kind of aggressive look, especially this model year where the rear window is almost flat with the back of the vehicle.

A really speedy-looking design that came from a supersonic aircraft – a blackbird, where the nose is wider than the tail. As we know the Ford Torino is a mid-size car, it is bigger and heavier than the Mustang and can certainly keep up with it.

The question is, what was the last time you saw a 1971 Ford Torino GT 429 Cobra Jet? Therefore, today we got this absolutely perfect Torino GT in light green “mint mist” body color, yellow side stripes, black hood, and restored in his factory condition.

The interior is absolutely gorgeous and super comfortable. Inside we can see a nice dark green interior with front bench seats. Also, it is equipped with an air conditioner, a radio, a rev counter behind the steering wheel, and a manual Hurst shifter in the middle.

One special detail on this 1971 Ford Torino GT 429 Cobra Jet is the cool-looking functional shaker hood scoop coming through the flat black hood. The powerful machine under the hood, a Ford 429 cubic-inch Cobra Jet V8 engine, is sometimes confusing that not sharing anything with the 428, but it’s a ‘younger brother’ of the 460.

This engine produces 370 horsepower and 450 ft-lb of torque. The transmission of this car is a 4-speed manual connected to a 3.50 ratio rear end. In addition, it has power steering, power disk brakes, and an awesome set of Magnum 500 15-inch steel wheels equipped with white letter BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
