Customers who walked into a Chevrolet dealership in 1964 to order the Malibu could pick any engine they wanted, including the lazy six. However, the GM brand offered several potent units, including the top 327 with 300 horsepower.

The restoration included major work in every department, including the body, the interior, and under the hood. The paint was resprayed by a professional shop, so it now shines like a new car. The interior is a custom cloth and vinyl combination with matching seatbelts, a custom Dakota dash with Bluetooth radio and a B&M ProStock shifter that teases what happens in the engine bay.
The 400 is paired with a built TH350 transmission, and the mechanical upgrades include Edelbrock RPM Performer heads, an MSD HEI Street Fire distributor, and a BeCool radiator with an electric fan.
